Performing arts training intensive for ages 12-24. Established in 1990, the Asante Children’s Theater (ACT) Academy Program is an intensive performing arts training ground for young creatives aged 12 to 24. For over three decades, the Academy has served as a transformative force in the community, impacting thousands of young lives and providing the foundational growth that led to the establishment of the Asante Art Institute.

Our mission is to inspire and equip the current and next generation of artistic and administrative leaders with the tools necessary to engage and lead within their communities. Through rigorous training and high-stakes performance opportunities, Academy members don’t just learn to perform—they learn to lead.
