In Prep4Life our approach to arts education and exposure is two-fold. We use acting, singing, dance, and storytelling as tools that empower young artists to perform. At the same time, we use various themes that help them understand the world around them. Our next session is “In The Wind” Stories and Images in tribute to Major Taylor. Under the direction of our Teaching Artists, Prepsters will explore the life and accomplishments of award-winning cyclist and one of the world’s first superstar athletes Major Taylor. Using their talents they will develop a performance piece to be featured at the Indiana State Museum’s Juneteenth Festival.
